Young Adult is a band formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 2012 by Cory Driscoll and Sam Lloyd.
The band was formed to illustrate the epic poem "Aporia" by Cory Driscoll. They made 2 LPs and an EP before retiring the project in 2016.
Perpetual Youth - 2016
Perpetual Youth is comprised of clips from family films circa the early 1960s in Northwestern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Sequels is the third and final album by Young Adult. The 40-minute opus follows three corresponding thematic arches, seeking balance betwixt ownership and identity, self and other, youth and wisdom.

Pendulum -2013
The second release by Young Adult, Pendulum is a five song E.P. about searching for balance in the midst of an unceasing series of reactions to prior actions. It is the most collaboratively composed effort from the band.

Aporia - 2012
Aporia is the first album by Young Adult and the first full-length album written by Cory Driscoll. Aporia is a Socratic term for the feeling that accompanies the realization that one has returned to the wilderness where nothing is known. The album is best understood as an epic poem about reconciling with distance.
